Elvis Presley’s 1962 private jet has found a new owner, and the interior is simply stunning!

Elvis Presley was a talented performer with a gorgeous voice, but he was also more than that. His jet in particular reflected his exquisite sense of style and taste.

In 1962, Elvis received his personalized aircraft, a Lockheed Jetstar model that was built to his specifications and furnished with mahogany paneling, plush crimson velvet couches, and plush carpeting. Even the most discerning critic would be amazed by the interior’s splendor.

Elvis Presley’s airplane remained dormant for more than three decades before it was turned into a well-liked tourist destination in Roswell, New Mexico, after he passed away in 1977.

But it was recently auctioned off in Florida for the astounding sum of $260,000 to a caller claiming to be an Elvis fan. This aircraft rose to fame as a representation of the King of Rock’s legacy and flawless sense of style.

When Elvis and his father, Vernon Presley, first took flight in their personal aircraft, they must have felt exhilarated and awestruck.

No expense has been spared to give travelers the ideal trip experience. In fact, Elvis showed off his extraordinary design talent and attention to detail even in the skies. It’s not surprising that his plane, which was a part of his legacy long after his passing, became iconic.

Elvis Presley’s aircraft, named Lisa Marie after his daughter, has lain dormant in a remote area of New Mexico for more than 30 years.

The plane is still in very good condition despite the passage of time, despite its exterior losing its glamorous appeal and developing a faint red tint.

One is immediately struck by the opulent decor when entering this unique aviation history. Traditional oak paneling covers the interior walls, and the seats are covered in the most opulent crimson velvet one could imagine.

It’s impossible not to picture the King of Rock himself relaxing in one of these chairs while donning a striking pair of sunglasses and taking a luxurious bath.

The seating area is spacious and comfortable, with room for people to spread their legs while traveling.

A small kitchen can be found behind the main dining area. Even though the kitchen is small, it is fully equipped for food preparation and even has a vintage microwave.

One can’t help but think of Elvis making one of his famous sandwiches, a special blend of peanut butter, mayonnaise, bacon, and banana, and reheating it in the microwave before indulging in the delicious treat.

With the release of this album, Elvis cemented his position as the undisputed king of rock and roll and created a legacy of unmatched luxury and style.

Despite being beautiful, the airplane bathroom could benefit from more opulent accents like velvet and a more high-end sink. But compared to the cramped restrooms on charter planes, it is a significant improvement.

The experience was enhanced when, by pure luck, I happened to see Elvis dressed for the holidays.

The winning bid for the plane was $260,000 and it was sold at auction on January 8 at the Mecum Kissimmee Collector Car Auction in Florida.

The prospective buyer decided to place their bids over the phone in secret. This sale is a big step for the aircraft, and we’re eager to see where it goes from here.
