Two missing children reunited with their parents – Public stunned by the identity of the suspect

Authorities have recognized siblings Willow Bryant, 2, and Wyman Bryant, 4, who were reported missing on August 14, 2024, however it is unclear where the younger brother and sister were discovered. The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert many days later.

Tiffany Bryant, 39, and David James, 53, allegedly stole their biological children, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The children spent the previous year in foster care after their youngest sister tested positive for drugs at birth. The accused has been taken into custody.

Nina Glass, the president of a Texas-based organization that assisted in the search, told Newsweek that the parents stole Wyman and Willow during a supervised visit with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in South Los Angeles. They escaped the institution via an emergency exit, leaving their 15-month-old toddler behind.

“They’re the kind of folks that can live off the grid, if that makes sense.”Glass said the parents appreciate being out in the middle of nothing. “State parks—we always say RV parks and rest areas, but you may see them in truck stops because they are migratory. They live out of their car. They do not truly have an address.

This was not the first time Bryant and James had abducted their children.

The first instance occurred last summer, when their third kid was born; the children were found two months later. They allegedly recovered visiting privileges thereafter, but only under supervision.
