JOKE OF THE DAY: Three mischievous grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home. An old man walked by, and one of the grandmas yelled out, “We bet we can tell exactly how old you are.”
The old man said, “There ain’t no way you can guess it, you old fools.”
One of the grandmas said, “SURE WE CAN! JUST DROP YOUR PANTS AND WE WILL TELL YOUR EXACT AGE.”
Embarrassed just a little, the old man dropped his pants.
The grandmas stared at him for a while, asked him to turn around a couple of times, jump up and down for a little while and then they all piped up and said, “YOU’RE 91 YEARS OLD!”
“How in the world did you guess?” the old man said in shock.
The grandmas snickered and laughed.
Slapping their knees and grinning from ear to ear, all three happily yelled in unison, “Because you told us yesterday!”
The old man blinked, clearly confused. “I did?” he asked, scratching his head. One of the grandmas grinned and patted his arm gently. “Yes, dear. You told us at your birthday party yesterday. Remember?”
The old man chuckled nervously, realizing what had happened. “Ah, must be my memory slipping again. The doctor did say I’ve been forgetting things more lately.”
The grandmas gave him a sympathetic smile, and then, without missing a beat, they burst into laughter again. “Well, don’t worry,” one of them said between giggles, “we’re old, too. We forget plenty, but we’ll always remind you of the important stuff—like how old you are!”
The old man smiled, joining in their laughter, knowing he wasn’t the only one dealing with aging’s little quirks.
